Act of Remembrance and Thanksgiving

The Anatomy Department warmly invite you to an Act of Remembrance and Thanksgiving in memory of those who donated their remains to Medical Science in the College Chapel on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at 5.15pm
This ceremony is a tribute to those who in death have served the living.
It is an opportunity for students and staff to express their gratitude to those who have donated their bodies to medical science. A central part of the ceremony is calling out the name of each donor while lighting a candle in his or her memory.
The ceremony lasts approx. 45 minutes during which the Chaplains, Chapel Choir, Students, Staff and Donor Families, contribute religious
and secular readings, singing and music, creating a truly fitting acknowledgement to the donor community.
There will be a reception afterwards in the Atrium. Everyone is welcome to attend.
College parking will be available.
