Our full-time, intensive 10-week English language Pre-sessional Programme is for international students with the equivalent of an IELTS (academic) score of 6.0 or 6.5 and who hold an offer to study on an undergraduate or postgraduate course with us.

The programme is designed as a direct entry route for students whose conditional offer is based on fulfilling Trinity’s English language requirements. Students who successfully complete the programme are not required to take any further external language proficiency tests prior to registration.

This programme provides a highly interactive and rewarding learning experience that will enable you to develop the academic English skills you need for successful study at Trinity.

Dates & Schedule

The programme will run from 13th May until 19th July.

Subject to minimum enrolment numbers, the PSP will run in a face to face format on campus as well as in a fully remote online format for students who are unable to travel to Ireland in early summer. In both formats, the programme involves 20 contact hours of classes per week, supplemented by self-study activities provided in our online learning environment. Please contact our team with any questions regarding the programme’s teaching modes.

Cost

The programme fee is €3,450 for 10 weeks of full-time, intensive study, to be paid in advance.
