Ways to cycle without buying a bike
Dublin Bikes
Dublin Bikes are great. They're so easy to use. Here's a video made by Healthy Trinity: Smarter Travel, DU Film Soc & TCD SU and that shows just how easy. A discounted student subscription is available here.
Dublin Bikes 101
The Dublin Bike scheme is a cheap and health means of getting around the city. Here, SU Welfare officer Aisling Ní Chonaire gives a short tutorial on how to register and use the scheme!
Bleeper Bike
Meet BleeperBike. Ireland's first station less bike-sharing scheme.
BleeperBike is Ireland's first stationless bike-sharing scheme. Our bikes are equipped with a smart lock fixed above the rear wheel of the bike. This smart lock controls usage of the bike by communicating with our free to download App. It takes less than 5 minutes to download the App and register your details.
Bleeper Bikes are available on campus. They are rental bikes for hire on a per ride basis that can be left at designated parking spots on campus or all over Dublin. Their 'Pay As You Go' options with bill pay being even more cost effective.
The maps below show where the bikes can be parked on Trinity campuses or see a map of their locations all over Dublin.
