I am a neurologist working in St James's Hospital and run the multiple sclerosis (MS) service. Arising from my clinical work my research interests are based in MS and link to clinical observations. There are two research priorities that my work focuses on: delay to diagnosis and misdiagnosis. To address these problems I am developing new diagnostic biomarkers through clinically based research.
