Student Assistance Fund (ESF/SAF)
The Student Assistance Fund (ESF/SAF) is managed by the Higher Education Authority on behalf of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. (ESF+ 2021-2027). The following are examples of situations for which students can apply for assistance:
- Books / Class Materials
- Medical Expenses
- Rent
- Heating / Lighting Bills
- Family breakdown
- Food
- Essential Travel
- Bereavement
- Childcare costs
The following services are NOT eligible for assistance from this fund:
- Tuition Fees
- Registration Fees
- Loans
