TCD Partnership Access Courses for Mature Students
Since 2004 TAP has worked in partnership with TCD Partnership Access Courses in Pearse, Plunket and Liberties to maximise the numbers of under-represented students progressing to Trinity College Dublin. To learn more about the partnership courses with City of Dublin FET College, come along to our Open Day on 04 March 2026.

What happens after I finish the Partnership Access Course?
Students who successfully complete the course get a QQI FET Level 5 Major Award in 5M3114 General Studies.
Students who get a full FET Level 5 Award, with a minimum of three distinctions in academic subjects, may compete for places on degree courses in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in Trinity College.
Students who get a full FET Level 5 Award award, with a minimum of five distinctions, may apply for reserved places in other colleges and universities through the Higher Education Links Scheme (HELS).
