Mature Students - Alternative Entry Routes

If you are considering studying in Trinity as a mature student, we are here to help. A mature student is 23 or over on 1 January in the year of application. There is no upper age limit.

The Mature Student Office provides advice and support to mature students.

We are always interested in meeting prospective students and are happy to provide information to mature student groups in Colleges of Further Education or other organisations.

Mature students may apply for any of the following routes to Trinity:

• Direct admission to a degree course based on application/interview
• Application via CAO to a degree course, using a QQI FET Level 5 Award
• Admission to the TAP Foundation Course for Matures
