Éadaoin Flynn is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Speech and Language Studies. She has extensive clinical experience working as a Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in an acute teaching hospital. She holds a BSc. and MSc. in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin. She is currently completing a PhD focused on investigating dysphagia in people with atypical Parkinsonian syndromes. Her special interests include dysphagia, instrumental evaluation of dysphagia and innovation in dysphagia assessment and management. She has a particular interest in neurological conditions in adults. She is a regular reviewer for international peer-review journals and is currently a member of the Research Ethics Committee for the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences.
