Peter Stone attends Youth Dialogue with President of European ParliamentProf. Peter Stone, Head of the Political Science Department, attended a Youth Summit at which Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, spoke. The event was held on Friday, 3 February at the Smock Alley Theatre. Stone was accompanied by four of the department's postgraduate students.

Higgins. The event, held at Áras an Uachtaráin on Wednesday, 8 February, saw Peter Emerson present a copy of his book The Punter’s Guide to Democracy to the president.

Department welcomes new Assistant Professor, Tom PaskhalisDr Paskhalis joins Trinity from New York University, where he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Social Media and Politics. He received his PhD in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics. His research focuses on political communication, comparative politics and computational analysis of text.
