Dr Akhlaghi presented his paper 'Moore, Meinongianism, and Meta-Ethics' at the University of Maryland on 6 June, as part of the Moral Metaphysics at Maryland 2026 workshop.
The paper argues that a major early figure in the history of meta-ethics has been misread, and that this misreading matters for contemporary moral metaphysical debate.
Farbod Akhlaghi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin, where his research engages with questions in meta-ethics and moral philosophy.
