Study Abroad Applications 2026/27

Philosophy students have the opportunity to spend a semester or full academic year studying abroad, gaining new academic perspectives and intercultural experience along the way.

Study Abroad Options

Students can apply for a semester or full academic year abroad through:

  • Erasmus+, the EU programme that supports student mobility across European universities.
  • Non-EU Exchanges, which offer placements at universities in North America, Asia, Australia, and beyond.

Both options give students the chance to deepen their academic knowledge, gain intercultural experience, and expand their personal and professional horizons.

How to Apply

Application windows, eligibility criteria and deadlines are confirmed annually. Full details, including information on destinations and the application process, are available on the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy's Study Abroad page.
