Giulia Mangiapelo
Research:
Giulia works at the intersection of philosophy and psychology, examining the relationship between autobiographical memory, the concept of self and social interaction difficulties in autism spectrum disorder. Her project aims to build a more accurate understanding of selfhood and social cognition in autism through philosophical analysis that stays close to empirical findings in psychology and neuroscience.

Mustafa Khuramy
Research:
Mustafa works in metaphysics, value theory and epistemology, asking what exists, what is valuable and how we can know anything at all. His research has already appeared in the Asian Journal of Philosophy, Res Philosophica and Synthese. He has presented this work at conferences at Cambridge, King's College London, Oxford and UCL.

Alex McQuibban
Research:
Alex's research sits across meta-ontology, (meta-)metaphysics, metaethics and metaphilosophy, and takes aim at explanatory appeals to abstract objects in mathematics, modality and morality, arguing that such appeals fail to confer genuine ontological legitimacy on the abstracta they invoke. Wider interests include philosophy of religion, philosophy of language, epistemology, non-Western philosophy and philosophical education outside tertiary settings.
