Email philosophy@tcd.ie GaeilgeThe Philosophy Today lecture series opened last Thursday with a sold-out event at Trinity College Dublin. Dr Farbod Akhlaghi delivered the first talk, "Relatively Civilised, Relatively European”: Journalism and Moral Misinformation, exploring the ethical challenges of media narratives in times of crisis.
The evening was chaired by Professor John Divers, Head of the Department of Philosophy, and featured a lively Q&A session afterwards.
It’s great to see such strong interest in philosophy, and we look forward to the rest of the series. Next up: Professor Lilian Alweiss on War and Peace (Thursday, 20th February).
