Mr. Peter Lonergan

Biography
Mr. Lonergan graduated with degrees in both physiology and medicine from Trinity College, Dublin. After basic surgical training in Dublin, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Mayo Clinic, USA for a prostate cancer research fellowship for which he was awarded an MD from Trinity College, Dublin. He returned to Ireland for higher surgical training in urology followed by a 1-year NDTP-RCSI Aspire fellowship in quality improvement in surgery. He then completed 2-years of subspecialty fellowship training in urologic oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, USA before returning to St. James's Hospital as a Consultant Urologist and Clinical Senior Lecturer at Trinity College, Dublin in 2021.
