An audience of staff, students, and guests gathered last Wednesday, February 4 for the launch of Hannah Arendt’s Unwritten Chapter on Judging (De Gruyter, 2025), a new book by Dr Samantha Fazekas, Teaching Fellow in Philosophy.
The book examines Hannah Arendt’s unfinished reflections on judgment, considering what they reveal about the political relevance of Immanuel Kant’s aesthetic reflective judgment.
The launch event featured a presentation by Professor Lilian Alweiss, and was followed by a reception.
