Jimmy Lenman is a professor at University of Sheffield, Department of Philosophy. He has have taught courses in many areas of philosophy including ethics, political philosophy, epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, logic, Plato and Aristotle.
He recently developed new courses on the philosophical aftermath of the French revolution and on classical Chinese Philosophy. His research is mostly on ethics.
Abstract
I argue that the most plausible version of metaethics expressivism is communitarian in form. Less “I approve of this. Do so as well.” More “We approve of this. Do so as well.”
