Clemens Ruthner awarded the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art

Germanist Clemens Ruthner received the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art from the Austrian Minister of Science and Research at a ceremony in Vienna on 8 June 2026. Dr Ruthner was honoured for his contribution to "academic efforts and achievements in Austrian Studies worldwide", and is one of only a few Germanists to receive this state recognition.
