How does Trinity encourage adherence to Tobacco Free Zones?

Healthy Trinity Ambassadors

Healthy Trinity employs Ambassadors who walk the campus and remind people of Trinity's tobacco free policy and ask people to comply with it.

The Ambassadrors also create social media content and help to run events to promote health on campus. The Ambassadors meet the College Health Promotion Officer weekly.

Ambassadors are employed at the beginning of each academic year and are paid for their work.

From 2016-2020, Ambassadors approached almost 3,000 people smoking and reminded them of the policy. Pictured are Ambassadors working together at a weekly meeting.
