Unplanned Pregnancy

Discovering that you are pregnant when it was not planned may produce feelings of shock or distress. This can be a difficult issue to discuss with your friends and family or even your partner. Therefore, many young women feel alone at this important time.

If you find yourself in this situation, please contact a GP at the student health centre or get in touch with counselling services. A counsellor will help you to explore your own feelings around your pregnancy and the options you feel are open to you, in complete confidence.
