ARC Hub for Therapeutics - Accelerating Research to Commercialisation

The ARC Hub for Therapeutics is a national initiative that accelerates cutting-edge biomedical research into real-world therapies launched in 2025. Hosted by Trinity College Dublin, in partnership with RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences and University College Dublin (UCD), the Hub is part of Research Ireland’s flagship Accelerating Research to Commercialisation (ARC) Programme. It is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern, Eastern and Midland Regional Programme 2021–2027.

The Hub strategically unites leading academics and scientists with industry partners, investors, and the wider innovation ecosystem. It focuses on fast-tracking the commercialisation of next-generation therapeutics, including small molecules, RNA and gene therapy, providing novel treatments for oncology, ophthalmology, central nervous system, infectious diseases and bleeding disorders. By strengthening Ireland’s innovation landscape, the ARC Hub builds capacity to translate scientific breakthroughs into tangible patient benefits through licensing, spin-outs, mentoring, training, and leadership development, cultivating entrepreneurial talent and accelerating real-world impact.
