Biography

Rebecca Parkin is an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin (TCD). Rebecca completed her BSc. (Pharm.) and MSc. (Community Pharmacy) in TCD. She subsequently completed her MSc. (Clinical Pharmacy) in University College Cork, followed by a PhD in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
After working as a community pharmacist for 20 years, Rebecca joined the National Cancer Control Programme as a Senior Pharmacist in 2020. She took up her current post with the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in TCD in 2026.

Rebecca's main research interests focus on psychotropic medication use in children/adolescents, including the development of supports for patients/caregivers in relation to psychotropic medication use.
