It was a pleasure to welcome Boots Ireland to the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences to meet our first year students as they begin their journey towards becoming pharmacists.

Our students had the opportunity to hear from Boots Teacher Practitioner Karen Rossi about the many ways Boots can support them throughout their education, including part time jobs, pharmacy placements and opportunities to gain valuable experience alongside their studies.

We were also delighted that Boots provided our students with a new edition of the British National Formulary (BNF), an invaluable resource that will support their learning throughout their studies and into their future careers.

Partnerships like this help our students to connect their academic learning with the profession they are preparing to enter, while introducing them early in their studies to the opportunities and support available to them.

A sincere thank you to Boots Ireland for their continued investment in pharmacy education and in our future pharmacists. We look forward to seeing our students grow in knowledge, confidence and experience over the years ahead.
