- Title
- A pilot study to characterise resident memory T cells in the skin of hidradenitis suppurativa patients
- Summary
- The purpose of this study is to carry out a detailed phenotypical analysis of resident memory T cells in uninvolved and lesional HS skin using state of the art flow cytometry, in order to better understand HS pathogenesis. This study will serve as a pilot study to leverage further funding.

- Title
- Targeting dysregulated bioenergetics in the inflamed rheumatoid arthritis joint
- Summary
- This project aims to: 1.Identify the bioenergetics profile of cells from the joints of RA patients and to correlate the presence of glycolytic markers with disease activity and response to treatment; 2. Determine the role of hypoxia in promoting glycolysis and inflammation in synovial T cells and fibroblasts and 3. Assess the therapeutic potential of compounds targeting glycolysis in RA.

- Title
- Characterisation of the stimulatory properties of synthetic α-galactosylceramide for human invariant natural killer T cells
- Summary
- The aim of this study was to investigate the potential of various glycolipids in stimulating iNKT cells to mediate cytotoxicity, T helper function and cytokine secretion and to identify ligands of iNKT cells with potential for immunotherapy.

- Title
- The effect of AM251, a CB1 receptor antagonist on learning and memory
- Summary
- The aim of this study was to examine the effect of AM251, a cannabinoid receptor antagonist, on learning and memory. The results revealed the compound improved memory formation in a spatial paradigm, which was later confirmed by Western immunoblotting.
