Music and Media Technologies at Trinity College Dublin sits where engineering meets artistic practice. Through the MPhil programme and doctoral research, staff and students explore how sound and image are made, captured, shaped and experienced, from spatial and immersive audio and extended reality to composition, sound art, theatre sound design and visual music. Staff are active researchers and practitioners, and their work appears as journal papers, standards and patents, and as concert works, installations and productions presented internationally.
