Emerge the mmt 2021 online exhibition featured the work of Trinity College’s Music and Media Technologies master’s students of 2021. The exhibition took place online over two days, and featured diverse works including visual music artworks, virtual reality installations, contemporary music compositions and sound design works, augmented reality pieces, and interactive web-based multimedia environments.
The students of the master's in Music and Media Technologies of 2021 were from a remarkably diverse range of backgrounds, including architecture, computer programming, visual media, and fine art, as well as classical, traditional, and commercial music. This environment created a melting pot of ideas and approaches to sound, music, and related media. The ultimate goal was that each student significantly contributed to the broad field of music and media technologies.
