Congratulations to all of our graduates who celebrated Finals Evening last week at the Dublin Dental University Hospital, and to Dr Peter Harrison who received a huge cheer on being voted teacher of the year!

Orthodontic Society of Ireland Prizes, presented by OSI council member Dr Ciarán Devine:
- Highest results in Final Year Orthodontics - Dental Science Yodara Abdalla
- Highest results in Orthodontics Year 3 - Dental Technology Kamile Teriajeva
Dental Technicians Association of Ireland President Dr Cathy Gorman presented the prize for Excellence in Fixed Prosthodontics (on behalf of Mr Glenn McEvoy) to Kamile Teriajeva.
Treasurer of the Society of Chief and Principal Dental Surgeons of Ireland Dr Rosarii McCafferty presented the award for Dental Science student with the highest grades in Dental Public Health to Nadia Ebrahimi.
DDUH colleague Dr Maria Van Harten presented the Alumni Prize For Highest Mark in Dissertation in Dental Science to Joshua Rizkalla.
Dental Care Ireland Clinical Director Dr Jennifer Collins presented the Dental Care Ireland Prize for Best portfolio of Treatment over 4th and 5th year to Taylor Brown (Dental Science).
Henry Schein Representative Ms Siobhan Cleary presented the award for Excellence in Prosthetic Dental Technology to Kamile Teriajeva
Dr Cathy Gorman presented the ZirkonZahn Prize For the Two Best students in Fixed Prosthodontics in Final Year Dental Technology to Kamile Teriajeva and Jane O’Connell
Dean of Dental Affairs and Head of School Prof Alison Dougall presented the Sheldon Friel Prize for 1st place in Dental Science Final Examinations to Karen Mc Auley.
The Dean also presented the Dean's Prize For Final Grade of 80% or over in final year Dental Science and Dental Technology exams to Taylor Brown and Karen Mc Auley (Dental Science) and Kamile Teriajeva (Dental Technology).
