Investigating Neoproterozoic Ca Isotopes in Oman
March 2015
Dr. Catherine Rose has just returned from 3 weeks field work in Oman with a research team from the University of Copenhagen. With Prof. Christian Bjerrum and Ph.D. student Anne-Sofie Crüger Ahm, they are investigating the link between the element cycling of redox sensitive elements, and the conditions of the Neoproterozoic ocean as recorded by carbon, oxygen, and calcium isotopes during Earth history’s deepest negative isotopic excursion - the Shuram Anomaly.
