Smarter Travel Committee

We welcome students and staff members interested in more sustainable and healthy ways of travelling to join the Smarter Travel Committee.   The committee meets six times a year online, usually on a Monday at 12pm, with occasional in person meet-ups. 

The aim of the committee is to assist in the implementation of smarter travel initiatives and the campus travel plan actions, advise on travel policy and to help raise awareness about the benefits of active travel through events promotional campaigns. Our ultimate aim is to reduce our transport emissions to meet climate targets and retain the Gold Level Smarter Travel Mark.
