Our Climate Targets
We will aim to reduce our GHG emissions by 51% by 2030 in line with our commitments under the national Climate Action Plan. We aim to reach net zero across all categories of emissions, not just from our buildings by 2040 due to the urgency of our climate emergency and the radical actions that are required from all of us. We will aim to be a leader for our sector, city and country.

The Gateway aims to mobilise expertise to underpin the transition to a resilient, low-carbon future; to address the climate crisis at scale and build shared accountability by linking research, education, policy, and community action.

Emissions Reduction Campaign
Public sector bodies must reduce energy-related GHGs by 51% by 2030. We are aiming for an annual 10% reduction through refurbishments, improving efficiencies and reducing usage.
