Meet the Team
The STAM Research Group consists of a multi-disciplinary team based at the Department of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering focused on developing and implementing Manufacturing Innovation.

Dr. Garret O'DonnellPrincipal Investigator
Dr. Garret O Donnell is a graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology, University of Dublin and NUI Dublin and has been a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering in Trinity College Dublin since 2005.

Dr. Rocco LupoiPrincipal Investigator
Dr. Lupoi was appointed Assistant Professor within the Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering Department, Trinity College Dublin, in July 2012; the year after he was awarded of a prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship.

Dr. Daniel TrimblePrincipal Investigator
Dr. Daniel Trimble was appointed Assistant Professor within the department of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering at Trinity College Dublin in September 2015. From 2008 to 2011, he completed his PhD at Trinity College.

Dr. Shuo YinPrincipal Investigator
Dr. Shuo Yin was appointed Assistant Professor within the Department of Mechanical, Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering in January 2019. His current research interests are mainly focusing on additive manufacturing processes, including cold spraying, selective laser melting and digital light processing.
