Affiliated Organisations & Initiatives
The Trinity Centre for the Environment is an active member of a number of national and international initiatives that advance collaborative approaches to climate and sustainability challenges. Within Trinity, we contribute to the Climate Gateway, supporting interdisciplinary engagement on climate action and policy.
Nationally, we are engaged with IKC3 (Ireland’s Knowledge Centre for Carbon, Climate and Community Action), strengthening links between research, policy, and community-led climate solutions. Internationally, we are involved in the 4 per 1000 initiative, promoting soil-based climate solutions, and UArctic, a network dedicated to research and education on Arctic and northern issues. We also collaborate closely with leading organisations such as Climate-KIC and the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI), working at the intersection of research, innovation, and climate action.
Through these partnerships, we enhance our ability to connect research with practice and contribute to collective efforts toward a more sustainable future.
