
Trinity College Dublin celebrated National Academic Integrity Week 2025 from 13th-17th Oct) hosting a series of engaging events for students, academics, and professional staff. The week opened with a live launch introduced by Patricia Maguire (Academic Secretary), featuring addresses from Vincent Wade (Senior Lecturer and Dean of Undergraduate Studies), and Martine Smith (Dean of Graduate Studies).
Throughout the week, participants from across the disciplines engaged in a series of debates, workshops, and webinars that explored the meaning of academic integrity in the digital age. These workshops can be viewed below.
Sessions examined topics such as the responsible use of Generative AI, ethical scholarship and citation practices, and innovative approaches to assessment and feedback. These events fostered thoughtful dialogue among staff and students, reinforcing a shared commitment to honesty, fairness, and respect in all aspects of academic life.
A heartfelt thanks to all the students, academic staff and professional support staff who contributed to and shaped these important conversations on academic integrity. Trinity remains committed to leading the way in how we responsibly integrate Generative AI into teaching, learning and research—while steadfastly upholding the highest standards of academic integrity.

Join us for the official launch of Trinity Academic Integrity Week, opened by the Senior Lecturer and Dean of Undergraduate Studies and the Dean of Graduate Studies.
