Enhance Your Teaching Practice with Our Online Modules

We offer two flexible options designed specifically for postgraduate research students (PGRs) involved in teaching: a for-credit module and a self-study module. Both are grounded in the scholarship of teaching and learning, supporting you to develop your teaching practice through evidence-based approaches, critical reflection, and peer dialogue.

  • The fully online, for-credit module (VP1017: Teaching and Supporting Learning for Graduate Teaching Assistants) carries 5 ECTS and is open to PhD students actively involved in teaching, learning, and assessment at Trinity. It can also contribute to the requirements of the structured PhD.

  • The online self-study module (VP1017B: Teaching and Supporting Learning for Graduate Teaching Assistants) is available to PhD students engaged in teaching who prefer a self-paced learning experience.
