SFI Challenge Grant Awarded to Prof Benavoli and Prof Lupoi
Professor Rocco Lupoi (STAM) and Professor Alessio Benavoli from the School of Computer Science (SCSS), have been awarded an SFI Challenge Grant. The project is entitled 'Humans-in-the-Loop towards a more effective AI in manufacturing' (HLOOP). The aim will be to build a single AI-model to exploit the synergy between AI and human-workers. In doing so, it is hoped to speed up the adoption of AI for Process Optimization (PO) in manufacturing.
