Project Anna (INGDIV)
Project Summary
Summary
Building on the findings of the ATTRACT project (2010-2012), the project developed a web-based tool which contained anonymised profiles of current engineering students and recent graduates from the partner universities. PRevious work, including in ATTRACT, showed that a significant part of the ‘gap’ in numbers (of female vs male) students is about self-perception and self-confidence for (prospective) female students.
Prospective engineering students can use a range of filters to ‘match’ with profiles who share similar characteristics to them - the idea being to help potential students to visualise real people similar to themselves who have become engineers.
