Congratulations to Master's students Emilie Raymond, Charlotte Meuly and Karl Weldon who were awarded

2021/2022 Intel Masters Bursaries

for work based on their final year project research.

Emilie Raymond (MSc in Mechanical Engineering) works on reduced order modelling of flexible heat pipes for thermal energy harvesting, supervised by Assoc Prof Tim Persoons and Dr Michael Gibbons.

Charlotte Meuly (MSc in Mechanical Engineering) works on the design of air curtains around landing gear for noise reduction purposes, supervised by Assoc Prof Gareth Bennett.

Karl Weldon (MAI in Bioengineering) works on the characterization of the mechanical behavior of 3D printed Ti-6Al-4V lattice structures, supervised by Prof Danny Kelly.

The Intel Masters Bursaries are awarded annually to Science or Engineering Masters' students in Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, Dublin City University or Maynooth University to support their academic studies and provide learning opportunities aligned with industry needs. Intel Ireland provides mentors to the awardees to facilitate this.
