Joint Programmes - Creating Links Across the Globe
Trinity is committed to developing strong, impactful and sustainable joint educational partnerships. These are in the form of dual degrees, joint degrees, articulation programmes and pathway programmes.
USA

- TCD LL.B. students can earn their LL.M. degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Law, while completing the LLB. Degree at Trinity College Dublin.
- Students spend the summer of their Junior Sophister and Senior Sophister years in Berkeley fully engaging in life at the Law School and completing an LL.M. degree in a more flexible timeline.
- Students graduate after four years with an LL.B. and an LL.M. degree.

- Two years at Trinity College Dublin + two years at Columbia.
- Students study in one of 12 streams at Trinity + choose their major at Columbia.
- Students are awarded two Bachelor’s degrees, one from Trinity and from Columbia.

- Four years of the five-year Integrated Engineering or Engineering with Management (MAI) programme at Trinity followed by 1 year at Columbia University.
- While at Columbia University, students will complete one of several existing Master of Sciences (MS) courses and a dissertation for Trinity.
- Successful students will receive a professionally-accredited MAI degree from Trinity and a Master of Science (MS) degree from Columbia University.
India

- Two years at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology + two years at Trinity College Dublin.
- TIET students transfer to Trinity in Year 3 of their undergraduate engineering degree.
- Students are awarded a BAI from Trinity after Year 4, or can progress into Year 5 and graduate with a Trinity MAI.

- Two years at Manipal Academy of Higher Education + two years at Trinity College Dublin.

- Students are awarded a BAI from Trinity after Year 4, or can progress into Year 5 and graduate with a Trinity MAI.
Europe

- Four years at Institut Mines-Télécom + one year at Trinity College Dublin.
- Students complete four years of their degree in Computer Science at Institut Mines-Télécom and then apply to study at Trinity for Year 5.
- Students are awarded the undergraduate degree from Institut Mines-Télécom and a Master’s degree from Trinity.
Taiwan

- Four years at National Tsing Hua University + one year at Trinity College Dublin.
- Students complete the four years of their undergraduate programme at National Tsing Hua University and may then apply to study at Trinity for Year 5 in order to be awarded a Master's degree in Energy Science.
- Students are awarded an undergraduate degree from National Tsing Hua University and a Master's degree from Trinity.
Singapore

- Three years at LASALLE College of the Arts + one year at Trinity College Dublin.
- Students complete the three years of their undergraduate programme at LASALLE College of the Arts and may then apply to study the MPhil in Music and Media Technology at Trinity for Year 4.
- Students are awarded the undergraduate degree from LASALLE College of the Arts and a Master’s degree from Trinity.
Malaysia
Five semesters at IMU University and three years at Trinity College Dublin- Eligible students from the MBBS programme at IMU can apply for advanced entry to Year Three of Bachelor in Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics at Trinity.
- Students must successfully complete a further three years of the programme at Trinity in order to graduate with a Trinity award.
