Activities supported

  • Preparation of geological thin sections (50 x 25 mm) to required thickness (ca. 30 – 200 µm), stained/non-stained
  • Preparation of polished puck (25 mm)
  • Cutting of rock samples from ~1 to 50cm diameter
  • Grinding to remove weathering or to a flat surface
  • Preparation of polished rock samples up to ~30cm diameter
