As part of our Business Continuity Management initiatives at Trinity College Dublin, I am delighted to announce that we will be participating in the international 2025 Business Continuity & Resilience Awareness Week from the 19th to 23rd May. This event aims to raise awareness of business continuity and resilience, and we are excited to take part for the first time this year.
Throughout the week, we will highlight various aspects of business continuity and resilience with the following themes:
- Monday, 19th May: Threat Horizon Scanning – What is it and what does Trinity’s Threat Horizon Scan for 2025 look like?
- Tuesday, 20th May: Lessons we can learn from Weather, Power, and Cyber Incidents over the last year
- Wednesday, 21st May (from 2.30pm): Come along and Meet the Head of Business Continuity & Spin the Wheel of Disruption at the Trinity Staff Services Expo, Exam Hall
- Thursday, 22nd May: How to start Business Continuity Planning for your area in Trinity
- Friday, 23rd May: How might AI enhance an organization's resilience
We encourage all staff to visit the Business Continuity Hub throughout the week, where we will release new informational articles each day. Additionally, please join us at the Estates & Facilities stand at the Trinity Staff Services Expo to meet the Head of Business Continuity and engage with our interactive activity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about best practices in business continuity and resilience. It is your participation that is crucial in building a resilient future for Trinity College Dublin. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at business.continuity@tcd.ie, and I will be happy to assist.
