Free HSE Stop Smoking/Vaping Courses on Campus
Quitting smoking/vaping is the best thing you can do for your health and the environment. Have you tried quitting as part of a group?
When: Tuesdays at 1pm for 6 weeks; Nov 11th,18th, 25th and Dec 2nd, 9th, 16th.

Course facilitated by Ciara Murphy from the Health Service Executive, supported by College Health.
The courses cover topics like readiness to stop, dealing with cravings, the pros and cons of stopping and using patches or nicotine replacement therapies. The HSE provides free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (e.g. nicotine patches, lozenges etc) to people quitting smoking.
You can find the local Quit group and clinics throughout Ireland here, the HSE Quit website is a great resource, as is Quitline telephone service (1800 201 203) and this HSE guidance on vaping and e-cigarettes.
Trinity is a tobacco free campus and vaping is not permitted indoors. Trinity would very much welcome strong governmental restrictions to ban vaping as a means of supporting healthy people on a healthy planet.
