Orientation Guidelines

The principle objectives of Orientation Week are for new students to meet classmates and for them to familiarise themselves with their academic programme, including what modules they will take, how they will be assessed and what will be expected of them.

As Orientation tends to be overwhelming for most students, it is important to focus on what they need to know before their first semester.

Schools are also encouraged to host informal coffee or social mixers for their new students to give them an opportunity to talk to staff and meet classmates.
