Summer Course: A Cultural Journey across the Arab World

The course will consist of a set of interconnected modules that examine particular aspects of Arab culture through overviews followed by specific case studies. Each interactive section will provide students direct access to primary sources and materials to allow them to learn about the Arab world and its culture on its own terms.

Time and Place:

Classes take place on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8pm from 3rd - 24th June 2026. All the classes will take place on College campus in Dublin city centre. Learners will receive venue information closer to the course commencement date.

Duration:

The course runs for 4 weekly classes of 2.5 hours class time each.

Course Fee:

€150 for the 10 hour course. This fee is non-refundable once the course has commenced.

Important information: 

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enrol in the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies courses.
• All courses are offered subject to minimum and maximum registration numbers.
• Please note that participation in the short courses does not include access to the Trinity Library or other student services.
