The Department of Irish and Celtic Languages, and the Department of French, through the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies in partnership with the School of Education, are now accepting applications for the next intake of two upskilling programmes, designed to increase the number of qualified post-primary teachers in Irish and French in Ireland.

These programmes are structured to provide flexible learning to participants, through a combination of online, pre-recorded, face-to-face instruction and cultural immersion, designed to accommodate teachers in both full and part-time roles, as well as those based across the country.

Both programmes are two years in duration and funded by the Department of Education and Youth.
