Fionnuala Loy is a 4th year Dental Science student at the Dental School who was invited to talk at the Association of Basic Science Teachers in Dentistry where she gave a presentation entitled "What do I need to know about Saliva and Salivation? – The Student’s View”.
Understanding the importance of saliva in the oral cavity is essential for graduating dentists and Fionnuala drove a discussion based on her ideas of what she felt, as a senior dental student, should know upon leaving their undergraduate education. Her talked stimulated an exciting discussing and was appreciated by the attendees who were delight to see the students point of view. Well done Fionnuala!
