On November 30th, Tangent Trinity Ideas Workspace hosted the kick-off event for the Gen AI for Good Innovation Challenge. This exciting two-month innovation challenge invites students from universities across Ireland to join forces and tackle societal challenges using the power of Generative AI. Unlike traditional innovation challenges or hackathons, Gen AI for Good Innovation Challenge spans over two months, providing participants with a unique opportunity to delve into a comprehensive design thinking journey.

Organized in collaboration with Open Incubator, this marks the first time the innovation challenge is open to all university students in Ireland. The project will unfold until February, featuring a series of in-person workshops and culminating in a Demo Day. This extended timeframe empowers students to thoroughly develop their prototypes, fostering a more robust and thoughtful approach to problem-solving.

Here's why you should get involved:

Flexibility to Join Anytime: Students can seamlessly join the Gen AI for Good Innovation Challenge at any time by becoming a part of our Open Incubator portal or by participating in the upcoming in-person workshops.

Exciting Opportunities for Winners: The challenge winners stand to gain not only a €100 cash prize but also the chance to represent Ireland in various international competitions. Additionally, participants will be awarded badges by Open Incubator, recognizing their innovative contributions.
