S2S Head Mentors

Head Mentors are assigned by school and many support more than one. They may not be in the same course as you, but they've already been Mentors and bring valuable experience, tips, and insight. Many also choose to mentor alongside their Head Mentor role.

They're the first point of contact for Mentors, helping with questions, offering guidance, and making sure mentees have active, welcoming groups. Head Mentors also organise social events for Mentors to connect with each other.

By attending monthly meetings, Head Mentors help keep the S2S office informed about how things are going across all Mentor groups.

Mentors will hear from their Head Mentors before Orientation Week begins, and will be invited to a get-to-know-you event to meet other Mentors and connect with the Head Mentors who'll support them throughout the year.

Alannah Markham (she/her)

Hi I'm Alannah, a 4th year Geography & Sociology student who is one of the Head Mentors for Business, SSP, and Social Work. I began as an S2S mentor in 2023, and now this year I am really excited to take on the role as Head Mentor! I spend most of my time studying in the campus libraries but when not in college and work, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing video games, listening to music and travelling to new places. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Síofra Delaney (she/her)

I study Political Science and History, and when I’m not in class or pretending to be productive in a café, I’m singing with the Choir, at a Hist debate, or in House 47. S2S helped me feel settled here, so being a Head Mentor now feels really special. I'm here for mentors and students alike, everyone deserves to feel they belong. Can’t wait to meet you all!

Hi! My name is Tuleh (She/Her/Hers), and I am so excited to be a Head Mentor. I am a fourth year PPES student, and I have been a part of S2S for around two years. Beth Austin (she/her)

Hi there, my name is Beth and I am studying sociology and social policy. I am excited to be apart of the S2S Head Mentor team for this academic year. Arijita Aggarwal (she/her)

Hello! My name is Arijita and I’m one of your head mentors for Engineering. When i’m not in the hamilton, you’ll find me either at a concert or at pennys with a slice of bambino. Rarely will you ever see me outdoors on campus since I'm absolutely terrified of seagulls. Niharika Anand Shanbhag (she/her)

Hey there! I’m Niharika — a 3rd year Computer Science student and one of your Head Mentors this year! I’m super social and love meeting new people, so feel free to come say hi anytime. If I’m not coding, I’m probably in the glass rooms watching Gilmore Girls with 12 assignment tabs open in the background. Rachel Ranjith (she/her)

I'm a 3rd year Computer Science & Business student and I started my journey with S2S last year as a mentor and am excited to take on my new role as one of your head mentors! I spend a lot of time involved with societies (Equality in STEM Soc, Trinity Business Review, and S2S, to name a few). I enjoy reading whatever I can get my hands on (usually poetry or classic fiction) and often find myself cafe hopping with friends for long conversations. Looking forward to a great year together!

Hello! My name is Isa. I'm a final year student in Joint Honours History and Art History (my favourite artist is Nam June Paik). Miriam Onwuegbusi (she/her)

Hey everyone! I’m Miriam, one of your Joint Honours Head Mentors. I’m a third-year student studying Music and German. I’m a very social and talkative person, so please feel free to ask me any questions or chat to me about pretty much anything! My hobbies include playing sports (particularly badminton) and games, writing and reading manga. I can’t wait to get to know you all!

I’m Anna and I’m a 4th year medical student from Kilkenny. I’m so excited to be a head mentor again this year. S2S has been such a wonderful journey with my friends and everyone I have met along the way. Truly changed my life and I have loved to see how the programme has changed over my 4 years in S2S alone!

My tip for new students: sign up to all the societies that interest you to meet new people and try new things- I was in 11 in my first year!
