19th Annual PG Skills Development Summer School
On June 4th 2025, join SLD and a host of other University services for a day long Postgraduate event. Workshops will run throughout the day in areas tailored specifically to PG students and their academic journey. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your peers and make connections.
The event will run on June 4th 2025, from 9.30am until approximately 4.15pm. Workshops will be run both in person and online. Join SLD and guest speakers from the Postgraduate Advisory Service, Trinity Library, Student Counselling and Portal. Registration and full details for joining us will be published before May 14th 2025. Keep an eye on your emails for updates.
Half of all workshops will be delivered 'hyflex' - meaning that you can attend in-person and online for some of the workshops. The remaining workshops will be online only - this is to ensure accessibility for all of our postgraduate students.

- Creative thinking for research
- Supervisory relationship
- Presenting & defending your research
- Academic integrity
- Planning & time management
- Writing processes & strategies
Workshops will be recorded and made available online after the event.
