Adjusting to Learning at University Academic Support Group
This group is intended for students starting out in university, students who may not have studied in a while, undergraduate students returning from a period of time off-books or anyone who wants to brush up on their academic skills in a group-based setting. Themes covered include academic writing, building a study routine, managing your workload, and exam preparation.
When: Weekly from from Thurs 12th Feb 2026, for 10 weeks, 11.00 - 12.00.
Where: Group Therapy Room, 3rd floor 7-9 South Leinster St. (opposite Insomnia Café)
Who: This group is intended for students who have recently started out in university, students who may not have studied in a while, undergraduate students returning from a period of time off-books or anyone who wants to brush up on their academic skills in a group-based setting. What to expect: A friendly atmosphere where you get time to work on specific and relevant elements of your academic skills.
Format: This will be a semi-structured group, which means that in addition to focusing on specific themes, the facilitator(s) can also respond to specific requests of the group as term progresses.
