This prize was established in 2009 to honour the memory of Christopher Donovan, a former student of the M.Phil. in Literary Translation. This prize was founded by his family and friends. The prize will be awarded annually, by decision of the Court of Examiners of the M.Phil. in Literary Translation, to the student who submits the best Portfolio of Translation provided that the mark exceeds 70%.
The Constantia Maxwell Scholarship provides a contribution of up to €3,000 towards the tuition fees (EU or Non-EU) of one of the Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma courses in the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultural Studies in the academic year 2025-26.
