Our academics and professional staff are here to help you belong to our intellectual community. Equality, Equity, Inclusion and Diversity are at the core of our activities in the School and form a key part of our current mission, striving for justice in all our activities. This is reflected in our interest in an inclusive curriculum covering an international context, which we continue to revise on an ongoing basis, as more colleagues join our endeavours.
Trinity College Dublin is proud to be a University of Sanctuary. Universities of Sanctuary is an initiative that recognises and celebrates the efforts of the universities and colleges that welcome and support migrants, refugees and asylum seekers within their academic communities. The Trinity Centre for Forced Migration Studies is affiliated with our School.
Languages 250 at Trinity (1776-2026) is a programme of events taking place throughout 2026 to mark the 250th anniversary of the establishment of Modern Languages in Trinity College, which led to the establishment of the oldest continuous Chairs of Modern Languages anywhere in the world.
We are keen to connect with our School's alumni community around the world, please get in touch.
